about

Most of the album was recorded live at Bethany reserve on the 8th of January 2022 in front of an audience of jubilant experimental music lovers. The title track, ‘Things appear and disappear’ and ‘Prelude to thing’s were as they were played on the day. The rest of the tracks had extra Psychedelia applied after the fact (in true Rolf-Ulrich Kaiser fashion). The title track is a 35-minute psychedelic epic tracing a human life from the nothingness of pre-creation, to the nothingness of post death. Embracing the virtues of Krautrock, Indian ragas, space Jazz and electronica, this collective version of Horrahedd jammed for months, sharing ideas and contributing to the beast. Connection was the buzz word for 2021. Jam times were about people getting together and becoming one with the music. With the accumulation of the project being a live recording in front of real people, the idea of connection extended to musicians connecting with audience.
