I constructed and edifice for an artist to roam
he was needing a place for his soul to call home
he was a cog in reality, an industry pet
it sanded his face off and it wasn’t done yet
he needed time in a refuge, where the sky wasn’t grey
and the routine’s not paramount to the flow of the day
and it had to be made from the artistic clay
from the universal minds and their cosmic display

The floor is a carpet, from the weave of psych rock
the curtains they sway on the breeze of death pop
on the ceiling hung with vines of the garage funk plant
and the walls can trip out with psychedelic monk chants
the secret gardens an Orchard, with fruiting theremin trees
angels and devils sing what they please
the stratum is noise a paradigm that annoys
but to some it is a Personification of poise
